Oven Roasted Brussle Sprouts

Brussle sprouts have a flavor all their own. At least the good ones do.

Ingredients:

Brussle sprouts. Cut those over 1 inch in half.
Olive oil, probably not extra virgin
Salt (maybe a teaspoon)
Pepper (about the same)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees.

2. In a large bowl, mix salt and pepper with enough oil to coat sprouts.

3. Toss sprouts in oil.

4. Arrange on cookie sheet, cut sides down.

5. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes.

6. Remove foil. Cook for 10-12 minutes.
